I skip WordPress and the drag-and-drop builders entirely and stack your site by hand, log by log. It opens in about a second, Google runs out of things to complain about, and you get design, hosting, edits and support for $0 down and $175 a month.

Still standing.
No WordPress
§ 01 The switch
For years I built on WordPress, and it worked until it didn't. Plugin conflicts. Security patches at midnight. A theme that turns a simple five-page site into three megabytes of things nobody asked for.
So I quit. Every site I build now is hand-written HTML and CSS. Nothing sits between your visitor and your page, which is why the pages come up instantly and stay up. Chewing through it by hand takes longer. The dam holds better.
Static HTML has no plugins to break and no database to hack.
I still handle everything you would expect a host to handle: updates, edits, backups, all the parts nobody wants to think about. You email me, I fix it. No ticket queue, no account manager, no handoffs.
§ 02 What you get
01
Most of your customers arrive on a phone, so that's the layout I build first. Everything else grows out from there.
02
From squirrel-sized phones to the lumberjack-sized monitor in your office, the layout holds its shape.
03
Visitors give up on a slow page before they read a word of it. Mine open in about a second, even on the wifi at the back of a coffee shop.
04
Clean page structure, real business markup, and copy written around the words your neighbors actually type into Google.
05
People ask chatbots for recommendations now. Your pages get labeled so those answers quote your business correctly instead of guessing.
06
One email address, one beaver behind it. Whoever wrote your code is who answers when something needs changing, because it is the same guy.
§ 03 Performance
Put your current site through Google PageSpeed Insights and keep the number handy. Then check one of mine. Nothing loads that the page does not actually use, which is why these builds come back at 98 to 100 out of 100.
Faster pages rank better, cost less to advertise against, and turn more visitors into phone calls. That's the whole argument.
Get a faster site§ 04 Selected work
Inspectors, foundations, DJs. Different industries, same job: a site that loads fast, reads clearly, and gets the visitor to call.

02 NONPROFIT
A foundation working with local schools to teach teens about prescription drug misuse, and supporting families living with addiction. The site had to carry a legacy and still make it easy to donate.
03 ENTERTAINMENT
Live DJs for weddings, proms and corporate events. Built to get a couple from browsing to a date on the calendar without a single dead end.
§ 05 Pricing
Most small businesses around here do not have the woodpile to drop thousands up front, so the monthly plan exists: nothing down, everything included, every term spelled out in writing before you sign.

A few sentences is plenty to start. I'll write back with what I would build, what it costs and how long it takes. No pitch deck, no upsell.
